The Derby area taxi association (D.A.T.A.) is a representative body formed by a board of Derby licensed private hire drivers. (Currently) Free to join for Derby licensed private hire drivers, our mission is to protect, promote and advance the best interests of drivers licensed by Derby City Council, ensuring their voices are heard and their livelihoods supported.
D.A.T.A. aims to work collaboratively with local authorities, operators and the wider community to address key issues affecting the trade, from licensing policies and regulatory changes to interests around passenger safety and driver welfare.
By engaging directly with policymakers and stakeholders, we aim to create fair, practical and sustainable conditions for Derby drivers to thrive.
D.A.T.A. aims to provide a unified voice for Derby’s private hire drivers and to champion their role in keeping the city moving safely and reliably.
